How do I add a new product to my inventory?

Once you're logged in, go to Inventory → Add Product. You can search the PLCB catalog, scan a barcode, or enter product details manually. Set a par level so bevMetrix can flag it when stock runs low.

How do I create a purchase order?

Go to Orders → New Order, choose a vendor, and add items below par or search your full catalog. You can also use Quick Order to build an order straight from low-stock alerts.

How do I invite my team or add staff accounts?

Admins can invite team members from Settings → Team. Each staff or manager account shares your organization's inventory and subscription — only the org admin needs an active subscription.

Why isn't a product showing up when I search?

bevMetrix's catalog is built from PLCB data and may not include every private or out-of-state product yet. You can add it manually from Inventory → Add Product → Custom Item.

How do I change my plan or update billing details?

Go to Settings → Billing and click Manage Billing to open the Stripe billing portal, where you can update your card, change plans, or view invoices.

How do I reset my password?

Use the "Forgot password" link on the login page to receive a reset email, or update it directly from Settings → Account once you're signed in.

Do I need my own subscription if I'm staff or a manager?

No — staff and manager accounts share access through their organization's admin subscription. Only the admin account needs an active plan.

Troubleshooting

Barcode scanner won't open or scan

Make sure you've granted camera permissions to your browser for bevMetrix, and that you're using a supported browser (Chrome or Safari on mobile). Try reloading the page if the camera feed is blank.

Inventory counts look out of sync

Inventory updates in real time, but cached pages may lag a few seconds. Refresh the page. If counts still look wrong, check Reports for the most recent inventory submission to confirm what was last saved.

I'm stuck on a subscription/paywall screen

This means your account (or your organization admin's account) doesn't have an active subscription. Staff and manager accounts rely on their org admin's subscription — ask your admin to check Settings → Billing.

An order or product import failed

Double-check that any CSV upload matches the expected column format. If a vendor email didn't send, confirm the vendor's email address in Settings → Vendors is correct.

I can't log in or my password reset email never arrived

Check your spam folder first. If it's still missing after a few minutes, email support@bevmetrix.com with the address you signed up with and we'll help you regain access.
